Coaching with EmilyHaving fully recovered from a restrictive eating disorder I have a deep understanding of the recovery process and am passionate about helping others to reach a place of total ED freedom.
As a qualified coach I pull together my personal experience, years of research in this field and coaching skills to offer a service that is solution focussed, action-orientated and totally individual. As a coach I like to think of myself as a co-pilot in your recovery journey. My job is not to tell you what to do, but to empower you to make the choices that lead you towards the life that you want to live, and the person you truly want to be. Together we can explore where you're currently at, gain clarity over where you want to be, dismantle the things holding you back, set clear goals and get focussed on the action taking that is required to move towards a place of ED freedom. |

I believe that everyone, no matter what, can reach a place of full recovery if they are willing to commit to the process.
I promote a food first approach to recovery: one that is about unrestricted eating, reaching a place of full nutritional rehabilitation, taking opposite actions against ALL eating disorder behaviours, prioritising rest, quitting compulsive movement and rewiring disordered neural networks.
I believe that taking action is key: that without change, nothing changes and that in ED recovery opposite actions are absolutely essential to shift habitual behaviours, drive neural rewiring, dismantle self-limiting beliefs and allow full and complete nutritional rehabilitation.
